Today’s “I AM” might be the most quoted of the I AM statements of Jesus.  It is commonly quoted at funerals.  A preferred Christian music bears the similar title and quotes these verses. 

These verses happen throughout the account of Jesus elevating Lazarus from the lifeless, informed in John 11.  Lazarus, and his sisters Mary and Martha, have been pals of Jesus.  He would typically cease of their dwelling on His journeys to Jerusalem.
